OOTR Horn Concert

OOTR Twilight Horn Concert was held on November 9th, 2007, the night of the 1st day of The 4th OOTR Annual Conference. The world top Hornist, Nobuyuki Mizuno, played Mozart and Saint-Sans. The deep and gentle sound of Horn made the participants of the conference relaxed.

Nobuyuki Mizuno (Horn)

Nobuyuki Mizuno is a member of the Mito Chamber Orchestra and played in the Saito Kinen Orchestra, and teaches horn courses as Professor at Tokyo College of Music, as Lecturer at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music and Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts

1970~1975 studied at Detmold College of Music
1973 won the 2nd place in the Hochschule music competition/Horn section
1975~1980 served as the Principal Hornist in the Aachen Opera House Orchestra
1983 acquired the Associate Diploma in the Royal Academy of Music
1980~2003 served as the Principal Hornist in the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra

Mie Matsuoka (Piano)

Mie Matsuoka has a lot of experience in performing with the top players of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra

1990 won the first place and the highest award in the PTNA Piano Competition
1995 won the highest grade in the solo section in the PTNA Piano Competition
2001 won the Accompanist Special Prize in the International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen

Yuka Tanaka (Violin)

While attending the Toho Gakuen School of Music, Yuka Tanaka held a recital under the auspices of the Japan Federation of Musicians.

2001 had recitals with Pianist Akira Koizumi, and recieved a favorable reputation for her performance.

She has been engaged to perform concerts for children.
