"OOTR eradicate cancer Christmas charity" took place on 20 December 2008 at the Kyoto University Centennial Memorial Hall.
First half of the charity concert allowed the audience to be entertained as well as educated with an in depth talk show about current cancer treatments and clinical trials hosted by Prof Inamoto from Kitano Hospital and Prof Toi, OOTR’s Chief Director.
The talk show included a special interview with a cancer survivor and eminent T.V journalist within Japan Mr. Shuntaro Torigoe from Asahi Broadcasting.
The final half was led by Tokyo’s Symphony Orchestra’s leading clarinet players, Mr Emannuel Neveu and Ms Hisae Kori accompanied by pianist Ms Mie Matsuoka.
The venue was filled with hope with enchanting Christmas melodies performed by the magical musicians.
OOTR wishes to thank all those who attended supporting this wonderful cause.
Yinchuan which is in the northwestern part of China, OOTR(HK) held the International Guidelines for Clinical and Pathological Diagnosis Symposium on 9 May 2008. This event was held in co-operation with the affiliated hospital in Yinchuan Ningxia Medical College.
On 9 and 10 November 2007, the 4th OOTR Annual Conference was held in Kyoto International Conference Center.Participants from around the world shared significant information.
Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry, Prof. Aaron Ciechanover gave a special lecture on 10 November. He delivered an interesting speech for OOTR which pursue "Translational Research".
